Broken Arrow - Gold Canyon is a 0.33 mile one way hike with 137 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 20 miles east of Mesa Arizona. Trailhead access is via a dirt road which is typically car accessible when dry. February and January are the best months to enjoy this hike.

    To hike
    Start at Peralta Foothills Trailhead. Unmarked trailhead along Peralta Road 3 miles north of Highway 60. There is a dirt road and parking area on the north side of Peralta. Hike north 1.5 miles on the Peralta Foothills Trail to junction of Broken Arrow Trail which veers to left at the top of a hill.
