    To hike
    Take US 60 east past Florence Junction to Queen Valley Road. Turn left and go 1.9 miles to Hewitt Station Road. Turn right onto Hewitt Station Road and continue 3.4 miles to FR1904. Turn left on FR1904 and follow it in the wash for .1 mile then turn right out of the wash and continue about 1.2 miles until it connects with FR252. Follow FR252 .3 mile until you see a somewhat traveled wash. Turn left into the wash and follow it .4 mile until a sign prohibiting vehicle travel, which is the trailhead.
