Overview: Quartz Ridge is part of the Gold Canyon Trail System located on State Trust Land east of Sunset Peak and west of Peralta Road. Connecting it with the Old Horse Trail or one of the other trails in the area makes for a nice hike in the shadow of the Superstitions.
When hiking several trails on a single "hike", log it with a generic name that describes the hike. Then link the trails traveled, check out the example.

To hike From the US60 in Gold Canyon go north on Kings Ranch Road approximately two miles. Park at Apacheland. Cross Apacheland to the Old Horse Trail and follow that east to the signed Quartz Ridge Trail.
