Paradise Lost is a 0.52 mile one way hike with 440 feet elevation gain. Located 13 miles south-southwest of Carson City Nevada. A high clearance 4x4 vehicle and a competent driver is recommended to access the trailhead. August and July are the best months to enjoy this hike.
Overview: Makeshift memorial and crash site of Paradise airlines flight 901A. Crashed due to weather enroute Tahoe from Oakland, California March 1, 1964. All 85 on board were killed.
