Overview: This hike follows an agricultural flume ditch. If you follow it far enough to the west it becomes a historic box flume. Slight elevation change makes this a pleasant walk or beginner mountain bike outting.

    To hike
    From the west side of Reno take McCarron off I-80 south to the first stoplight. This is Mayberry turn right(west), go one mile to Plateau Road. Take Plateau Road one mile to Woodchuck Drive. Turn right (west), canal and luimited trailhead parking is on your immediate right.
