 Likely In-Season!
Located next to Eagle Creek, the area is ideal for camping, picnicking, hiking, fishing and wildlife viewing. It is a quiet, remote site with lots of shade provided by sycamore and cottonwood trees along with pinyon and juniper trees. This campground is available on a first-come-first-serve basis and there is no fee to camp and no drinking water available. Honeymoon is a pack in/pack out campground with 4 tent sites, 4 picnic tables, 2 grills & 1 vault toilet.

    From Clifton - Travel north on Highway 191 (Coronado Trail) approximately 29 miles to Forest Road 217 (Eagle Creek road). Turn left onto 217 and take for approximately 22 miles to Honeymoon Campground located at the roads end.
