White Spar Trail #9707V is a 2.3 mile one way hike with 736 feet elevation gain. Located 6 miles south-southwest of Prescott Arizona. Trailhead access is via a dirt road which is typically car accessible when dry. April and October are the best months to enjoy this hike.
Overview: Is it a trail...or is it a road? This is supposed to be a closed road converted to a portion of the Prescott Circle Trail. It looks like it has not been converted yet. This trail climbs from White Spar Road to loop around the summit of White Spar Mountain, AKA Quartz Mountain. The peak is made of almost pure white quartz. You can also continue on Trail 9415 which ends at the Trail 48 trailhead on Copper Basin Rd. There is also a short unmarked trail to the summit.
