Likely In-Season!
Point Reyes - Coastal Trail/Laguna Loop is a 5 mile round trip hike with 370 feet elevation gain. Located 29 miles south-southwest of Santa Rosa California. The trailhead is car accessible. April and May are the best months to enjoy this hike.

This loop is basically an easy walk through coastal scrub and grassland with a big payoff, exposed to sun, the Pacific Ocean! You can begin on the Laguna Trail with a slight climb, then descend to Coast Camp on the Fire Lane Trail. Turn left on the Coast Trail for beach access at Coast Camp or complete the loop by following Coast Trail northwest. A flat, open stretch of trail leads along coastal bluffs and then through a riparian zone, and back to the trailhead near the Youth Hostel.

Check out the Official Route.

WARNING! Hiking and outdoor related sports can be dangerous. Be responsible and prepare for the trip. Study the area you are entering and plan accordingly. Dress for the current and unexpected weather changes. Take plenty of water. Never go alone. Make an itinerary with your plan(s), route(s), destination(s) and expected return time. Give your itinerary to trusted family and/or friends.
