This peak is located at the end of a high clearance 4wd road. The road itself was in poor condition and would not be recommended when wet. You can walk it from the gate at Chamberlin Trail or drive a good portion of the way if you want to test you 4wd skills. Near the top of the peak is an interesting looking water tank. The views of the rim are nice and it is also an 8 point SOTA Peak W7A/AW-024

Gate Policy: If a gate is closed upon arrival, leave it closed after you go through. If it is open, leave it open. Leaving a closed gate open may put cattle in danger. Closing an open gate may cut them off from water. Please be respectful, leave gates as found. The exception is signage on the gate directing you otherwise.
