Overview
Mchugh Peak is a 8.35 mile round trip hike with 4,168 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 15 miles south-southeast of Anchorage Alaska. July and August are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Just outside of Anchorage, McHugh Creek State Wayside Trailhead provides access to the SW tip of the Chugach range. There are a mix of easy to difficult hikes to be had. There is a $5 day use fee.
