Rabbit Lake Trail is a 4.3 mile one way hike with 1,121 feet elevation gain. Located 12 miles southeast of Anchorage Alaska. The trailhead is car accessible. June and August are the best months to enjoy this hike.
A really cool hike off the South side of Anchorage takes you up a valley and into the Chugach. N & S Suicide Peaks grow larger as you make your way closer to the crystal clear blue water lakes at their base. Worth doing in the right season/day if you have half a day.
