A short steep hike down toward the river on a moslty talus slope. Once at the trees, head left towards the sound of the water. Sharp eyes can pick up a faint trail. This waterfall is a favorite with kayakers- reportedly one of the most photographed and video'd in the world.

To hike From Hood River Bridge, head west on WA-14. After Drano Lake, turn right onto Cook-Underwood Rd. (it's the 2nd Cook Underwood from the bridge). Go 2mi and park on righthand dirt shoulder at milepost 2 marker.
