    To hike
According to online sources matched with Google Street/Map directions: I-17 north from Phoenix to exit #236, AKA Table Mesa Road. Proceed east on Table Mesa Road, AKA FR 41 to FR 37. Go north on FR 37. Total google estimated miles to the current mapdex placed trailhead is 16.9 miles, or roughly 17 miles, from I-17 to the parking area. Google satellite images indicate that these are decent roads, possibly graded. FR 37 leads to a ranch, or other private in-holding. However, youtube videos from 2014 and 2019, as well as a 2012 trip report of these roads indicated several section requiring 4x4, and several low crossing.
