Nice off trail peak its also a SOTA Peak W7A/YV-003 10 points excellent views in all directions. It is a benchmark peak however the marker has been stolen you can see where it was chipped out of the rock.

High Clearance possible when dry
To hike Take 89A to the Mingus recreation area drive to the Wood chute trailhead from here FR 106D becomes high clearance when dry and 4wd when wet continue on for about 1 mile and park at the intersection of 106D and 9710W. If the road is muddy you may want to park at the Wood chute TH and hike the additional mile up 106D
