 Bolsa Chica State Beach Trail starts at the north end of Huntington Dog Beach and continues north for about 2 miles. Dogs and bikes are allowed on the paved, multi-use trail, but not on the beach. Note that the site of Bolsa Chica oil well #1 is nearby marking the discovery of a large oil reserve in 1920 that continues active pumping 95 years later to today...
