A quick hike up a shady canyon to a seasonal waterfall and pool. Some rock-hopping and climbing if you wish.

Quite the party spot on weekends in nice weather. This is definitely not the place to find solitude.

    To hike
    Take Charleston Blvd / NV 159 west from Las Vegas to Red Rock Canyon NCA. After the entrance station, drive around the Scenic Dive to the prominently-signed Ice Box Canyon parking lot. The trail starts here.
