Syllabus
O'Haco Ruins - ECC is a 1.2 mile one way hike. Located 44 miles south-southwest of Winslow Arizona. A high clearance 4x4 vehicle and a competent driver is recommended to access the trailhead. May and October are the best months to enjoy this hike. This hike involes off trail navigation. Review triplogs, photos and the route to understand the terrain before heading out.


Overview: Remote Indian ruin site high above middle East Clear Creek. The setting is wildly rugged and scenic. The ruins are perched atop a rugged gooseneck point butte with a narrow land bridge access. Reaching the ruins requires negotiating a short steep class 3 scramble (rope optional) from the primary overlook. A hidden treasure for those with a love for ancient Indian history and adventure.
