River Trail - Inyo NF is a 7.87 mile one way hike with 2,029 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 44 miles west-northwest of Bishop California. July and August are the best months to enjoy this hike.

The River Trail follows the Middle Fork of the San Joaquin River and provides access to Thousand Island Lake and the John Muir Trail.
