This site was home to a wealthy coal magnate who built a Castle at this location. There were also several hundred coke ovens at this location as well as housing for employees. A ghost town until 2003 when the local historical society acquired the land and began remodeling the Castle for tours and rebuilding sixty of the coke ovens.
