This route is a multi-use path that's 22+ miles. It is newly listed on google maps and follows the canal by the Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co., south of Guadalupe Road. It is mostly in Mesa, but south of Guadalupe Road, the trail goes thru Chandler and Gilbert. It passes Val Vista Lakes and goes up the 101. It also goes past a few lakes and Neely Ranch Riparian Preserve, which is closed off to the public at this time. Parts of the trail follow the road. Lots of birds are seen utilizing the canal and the canal is open to the public. Check out the Official Route and Triplogs.
