Located about halfway between Silver City and Deming, City of Rocks offers camp sites, hiking trails, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, birding, stargazing, picnic areas and a desert botanical garden. The Visitor Center includes a large display area and modern restrooms with hot showers.

    To car camp trip
    From Deming at the I-10, take the 180 (N Gold Ave) north for approx 24 miles. Turn right on 61 and take for 3.25 miles. Turn left on City of Rocks Rd and take for 1.75 to the visitor center. Day use fee per vehicle - $5. Camping fees vary.
