Coordinates are for the junction of CO 12 and US 160 southwest of Walsenburg. The other terminus is at Trinidad. A new section has been added to this scenic byway, from Aguilar along I-25 west over Cordova Pass (11,248) to connect with CO 12 at Cuchara Pass (9941). This section is only partially paved. The drive features lots of great scenery, old mining towns, lakes, and some exotic geology.
