Robinson Park is a forested area on the bluffs in northern outskirts of Peoria that is cut in half by Mossville Road. Trails of Robinson Park complement the middle section of Illinois River Bluff Trail. South side trails are wide as former forest roads and stay atop a bluff. North side trail goes along the open lawn and then descends along the hollow slope to the bridge over Deer Brook, crosses it with Illinois River Bluff Trail and then diverges to the right to get on top of another bluff where the trails meet again. Overlook Trail on that bluff creates one more small loop with Illinois River Bluff Trail.
Park can be accessed from three small parking lots on Mossville Road and by two connector trails from Deerbrook Estates neighborhood with street parking.
When hiking several trails on a single "hike", log it with a generic name that describes the hike. Then link the trails traveled, check out the example.
