Overview
Turnhole Bend Nature Trail is a 0.55 mile round trip hike with 135 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 20 miles northeast of Bowling Green Kentucky. The trailhead is car accessible. April and October are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Short frontcountry loop trail through the forest featuring sights of a small sinkhole, a larger sinkhole and a peek view of the turnhole: a little side bay where Cedar Creek emerges from underground as Turnhole Spring and flows into Green River.

To hike
From Mammoth Cave Visitor Center drive 3.0 miles on Mammoth Cave Pkwy, turn right to Brownsville Rd (KY-70) and drive 3.8 mi. Trailhead parking is in the turnout on the right.
