Easy Access Falls by arizona_water Overview Prospect Mill Creek Falls, Barr Creek Falls, Pearsony Falls, and Avenue of the Boulders are all accessible from this trail. Mill Creek and Barr Creek Falls are well seen from the trail, but to access them up close, you must hike down the Mill Creek from an access point known as Avenue of the Boulders. This can be a sketchy off-trail scramble, so it is best to avoid high water events in the late spring. However, seeing all of this in the snow is also a special experience. History Prospect State Scenic Viewpoint, is a state park in the U.S. state of Oregon. It was formerly known as Mill Creek Falls Scenic Area, a private hiking area that was developed by Willamette Industries near the community of Prospect on Oregon Route 62 in Jackson County. The Avenue of the Boulders was formed in 1920 by the construction and subsequent draining of the valley by a hydroelectric dam. Hike The on-trail hiking is quite easy and the signage is clear. The entire hike to the view points and the Avenue will take less than an hour. In-step crampons are helpful in the winter, if you plan on doing any off trail exploring. Check out the Triplog.
