Grant - Swamp Pass is a 2.9 mile one way hike with 2,575 feet elevation gain. Located 37 miles north of Durango Colorado. A high clearance vehicle is recommended to access the trailhead. July and August are the best months to enjoy this hike.
This is a nameless trail on a lot of maps. I found only one reference to a name "Grant-Swamp Pass."
The trail ends near the Joel Zucker memorial plaque. There is a trail that continues East towards peak 13309. There are nice views of Ice Lake basin and the surrounding areas.
Check out the Official Route.
This hike is listed as One-Way.
When hiking several trails on a single "hike", log it with a generic name that describes the hike. Then link the trails traveled, check out the example.
