Steep climb on an 1800's mining trail, with sections that were literally blasted into cliff faces high above Bear Creek. Passes through two old mining camps with rusted equipment and rustic buildings. Links to other trails that continue up to Engineer Pass or further into Uncompahgre Wilderness.
