Established in 1956, the non-profit Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, California features one of the largest collections of historic railroad and electric traction equipment in the West. Strong emphasis on Los Angeles area streetcars and interurbans, including artifacts of the once vast Pacific Electric system. Open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas, but trains run only on weekends and major holidays.
