5.5 miles drive up and just off FR203A from the Cherry Creek Road (FR203) intersection and less than one-half mile drive further up FR203A from the Bull Canyon TH is this recommended, but very exposed, high-clearance vehicle, rocky, primitive vehicle and tent campsite (a maximum of 1 to 2 flat ground tent areas with an additional 1-2 vehicle camping areas).
Full-day sun and wind exposure at this 5k' elevation campsite area. Very scenic 360-degree views near and distant Sierra Ancha Wilderness views help make up for its lack of other amenities.
