San Rafael Swell, this is Butch Cassidy territory. One early seller was the Swaseys, they built a cabin with this beautiful setting in 1921. Several alcoves and caves are in the surrounding area to explore as well as the Ice Box Trail.

    To hike
    From Interstate 70 take Exit 131 which is marked with signs for the Temple Mountain and Sinbad Roads. From the interstate follow the Temple Mountain Road for about 3.9 miles and turn right on the Sinbad Road where the signs are also pointing the way to Swasey's Cabin. Continue following the Sinbad Road, staying right after 1 mile, for about 5 miles to where there is another sign pointing the way to the Swasey Cabin that indicates you have driven 9 miles since leaving the interstate. At this intersection continue on the route to the Swasey Cabin.
