Jinja is a town in Uganda, located on the shore of Lake Victoria. The Jinja River is the source of the River Nile. Jinja offers boat rides around Lake Victoria - the largest lake in Africa. Jinja also offers white water rafting in the River Nile. Many animals can be seen along the waterways including otters, monitors, snakes, crocodiles, a wide variety of birds.
