The Kazinga Channel in Uganda is a wide, 20-mile long natural channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George, and a dominant feature of Queen Elizabeth National Park. One of the main attractions at Queen Elizabeth National Park is the boat cruise along part of the channel. The boat sets off every day at either 09.00 am or at 2:00pm. This launch cruise may take from 2 – 5 hours to explore the water and the wildlife along the shores of the Kazinga Channel. There are professional guides right on the boat who will give you all the necessary information pertaining this safari or tour as well as answer any questions that may arise about the wildlife or anything else. Along the cruise, you will see many hippos, elephants, buffalo, and crocodiles. Many birds are also seen along the shore. There is a fishing village as well that the boat will pass. I heard that they sometimes offer a night cruise. Leave No Trace and +Add a Triplog after your boat to support this local community.
