Overview
This is a steep alternate entry/exit to the Fossil Creek Wilderness and the Fossil Springs Trail #18.

99.99% of the people hiking the Fossil Springs Trail, pass right by this trail without knowing it is even there. This is a steep, loose and unmaintained trail that appears to have been built many years ago. There are spotty cairns marking some of the turns. There are nice views to the west into the Fossil Springs Wilderness as you climb this.
