![]() The Bow Glacier Falls Trail starts from Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah Lodge off the Icelands Parkway (HWY 93) about 20 minutes north of Lake Louise. The trail wraps around the northwest side of Bow Lake and winds its way up canyon.
You come to a built up staircase as you climb parallel to a deep chasm draining the basin above. Continue and you’ll arrive at a large basin, devoid of trees, with Bow Glacier Falls at the far end. Continue until the base of the multi-tiered 400+ foot waterfall. Enjoy the area and return the way you came. This is a moderate hike that is well cairned and should take 3-4 hours. This hike is located in Banff National Park. Check out the Official Route and Triplog. Leave No Trace and +Add a Triplog after your hike to support this local community. |
