Bearpaw & Trapper Lakes fm Leigh Lake TH is a 9 mile round trip hike with 600 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 97 miles west-southwest of Cody Wyoming. The trailhead is car accessible. September and June are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Overview: A very scenic and relatively flat hike along the shorelines of four(4) beautiful lakes.

    From Jackson,WY: Drive north on Hwy 26/89 to the Moose Junction entrance station for Grand Teton NP, pay your entrance fee then continue on Teton Park Road to the 2nd (north) entrance junction for Jenny Lake; Turn left here and follow the signs past the String Lakes TH to the String/Leigh Lakes Picnic Area end and Parking/TH Start for this hike;
