Overview: Hike to this little jewel of an alpine lake at 9400' elevation in the shadow of The Tetons' Mount Woodring at 11,500 feet. On your 6+ mile hike in, take-in the distant views behind you of Leigh Lake and huge Jackson Lake. This canyon derives its name from the abundant Indian Paintbrush along your route as well as numerous other varieties of mountain wildflowers that flourish along the scenic upper trail segment.
