Cache Creek TR via Woods Cyn fm Cache TH is a 4.4 mile round trip hike with 575 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 110 miles west-northwest of Lander Wyoming. The trailhead is car accessible. September and May are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Overview: If visiting Grand Teton National Park and staying in or around Jackson, Wyoming, in-between your hiking in Grand Teton NP, you have a nice area at your disposal to do some very pleasant local hiking within the Teton National Forest. Numerous use trails follow in and around perennial Cache Creek area which runs through the middle of Jackson and is several miles long. On Cache Creek Drive you will pass below one of Jackson's winter ski resort mountains- Snow King Mountain at 7776' elevation.

    Driving north on WY Hwy#26 into Jackson, Wyoming: At the stop light intersection of Hwy#26/E.Broadway Street in Jackson,WY, continue driving straight(east) through the town center of Jackson on E. Broadway Street; Continue on E. Broadway to the intersection with Redmond Street; Turn right(south) on Redmond Street and continue driving to the last residential street which is Cache Creek Drive; Turn left(east) on Cache Creek Drive and continue to the gated end of this street(~1.25mls) to a signed parking and TH Start for local Cache Creek Trails (which are within the Teton Natl. Forest boundary);
