Incredible workmanship created 4 walls approximately 25 feet tall, three feet wide and 100 Yds long. Some day it was to be a Millsite for the Hercules Mine, a plot to defraud eastern US investors. Anyhow money dried up before the project could be finished. Nearby Galena was very active with lead and silver mines. The walls still stand as a monument to man’s ambition.
One-Way NoticeThis hike is listed as One-Way. When hiking several trails on a single "hike", log it with a generic name that describes the hike. Then link the trails traveled, check out the example. |
