 A decommissioned Army Ordinance facility created during World War Two, once supported by over one thousand soldiers with several hundred bunkers that resembled Igloos, thus the name. The site also housed Italian Prisoners during World War Two, the Fort was decommissioned in 1967. Interesting ruins of barracks, etc. The “ Igloos “ have been purchased by a California Company that is selling them to Preppers. Check out the Triplog.
