Overview: Wetlands, long grass give way to some tree cover on the way to Silver Lake and beyond to a juction with the Pacific Crest Trail. Can be comvbined with Bear Lake Trail to make a loop.

    FR / Dirt Road / Gravel - Car Okay

    To hike
    From Graeagle,Ca. travel south on Hwy. #89 for approximately 1.25 miles and turn right onto Forest Route #24. Follow this road for approximately 6.7 miles, turn right on marked forest road towards Lakes Basin Campground. Preoceed one mile past campground and lodge to trailhead.
