![]() Overview The Canyon Creek Charcoal Kilns were in operation from 1844 to 1900. The charcoal was used to fire a smelter five miles away in Glendale. There are 23 brick structures at the site and walking paths to view them along with informational kiosks. The kilns are located at a signed trailhead with one pit toilet and ample parking.
