    To hike
    California Adventure Pass or National Parks Pass required to park at trailhead.

    From the fire station in Angelus Oaks, continue NE on Frontage Road about 250ft, then make a right onto FR1N53. Follow this forest road SSE for .4mi to the trailhead. FR1N53 is in good shape as of Aug 2025 - high-clearance not necessary.
