Overview
A hike down into Hell Canyon with a short side trip to the Verde River. The trail ends at the junction with trail #9013 were there is a corral and the ruins of a cabin.

    To hike
    Take SR 89 north from Prescott. Turn right on E. Verde Ranch Rd. (~one mile north of the railroad bridge in Paulden.) After ~8 miles you will turn Left on FR 681. At 8.3 miles, turn right on FR 9087K. Continue on FR 9087K to the trailhead. It is ~12 miles from where you turned off SR 89.
