 Likely In-Season!
Expand MapHeadland trail is an awesome trail constructed by the CCC. Which passes by the ruins of “Atsina” then continues along the ridge line, several switchbacks bring you down to inscription trail which consists of over two thousand petroglyphs and inscriptions.

The trails can be done separately but this write up combines the two. The inscription Trail passes by a fresh water pond with year round water and was a savior to wagon trains that passed this way on the Beale Wagon Road.
