Expand MapBuilt as a defensive structure, this Mesa has been occupied since the 1100 ‘s. Almost destroyed by the Spanish in the late 1500’s it was quickly rebuilt and occupied till present without power or water. The hike/ tour starts with a shuttle ride up the Mesa.
