This is a short spur trail that runs from the Three T's Trail to the summit of Telegraph Peak (elevation 8,986 feet), in the San Gabriel Mountains. Telegraph Peak is the high point of the Cucamonga Wilderness Area.

Hike
The Telegraph Peak Trail starts at a signed junction along the Three T's Trail. The trail is well-worn and is easy to follow. The trail is a bit steep, but it is easier than the hiking you did to get to the start of the trail.
While Telegraph Peak is the Cucamonga Wilderness high point, this trail itself is not in the wilderness until you get to the summit.

There are great views at the summit, so it is worth spending a bit of time at the summit to soak it all in.

    To hike
This is a spur trail from the Three T's Trail, and there is no trailhead as such. Most likely, you will begin your hike from either the Mount Baldy Trailhead in Manker Flat or the Icehouse Canyon Trailhead. Alternatively, you could take a ski lift up to Baldy Notch and hike from there.
