Southern California native, living in the Sonoran Desert since 2004. I enjoy most outdoor activities, but hiking, mountain biking and paddling are a few of my favorites and the ones that I participate in the most. I live and hike extensively in the Valley of the Sun, at the base of South Mountain, but I love exploring all over the great 48th state. I solo hike a lot, but also hike with a pack that includes my wife, three sons and our two trail dogs Ari and Kali. I am a certified Leave No Trace Trainer and NOLS-WFA.
