just got an email from MM, he recommends using the 4x4 roads rather than SPencer trail, simply due to the climb with gear...

Hey, I've been seeing a lot of great shots of Horseshoe Bend recently on the interwebnets and that got me thinking and searching.... it there a way to access the WEST bank of the bend? I think the closest approach would be from Lees Ferry - Spence Trail up onto the flats and then cross NE from there...

An idea I had to search for Joe is to get high resolution pictures of the whole area. This should not be with a point-and-shoot camera but rather a good quality SLR with a big sensor. It may take several flights to get optimal light for various areas; I think you would want minimal shadows. The pic...

they blocked my access to Flickr, Vimeo, GChat, Yahoo, etc etc... the IT nazi's have not figured out what the HAZ thing is (Yet) so I use it sparingly, only once or twice a minute...
