Dogs are good - question: if it decides to rain can we shelter in the cabin until it stops?

I like that way the best - and the more of you guys I can meet - the better. I may bring my 2 kids - my wife has plans this weekend.

Stiller, sounds like I will be going maybe with my 14 year old son. Are you going to begin at the Pine Trail head? If not do I just keep going on Hardscabble until I see a trail head sign?
