Anyone looking for hiking partners or a group near Phoenix might want to check out Take a Hike AZ. They have a yahoo group site and do weekly meetings at Old Chicago on Broadway in Tempe. they're generally late 20's to late 40's and do hike every weekend.

Saw two western diamondbacks along Boulder Canyon trail a couple weeks back. One was right on the trail and almost okk out one of our dogs. The other was swimming across the creek....
